TOYO-SASAKI GLASS

Toyo-Sasaki Glass was established in 2002 through the merger of the houseware division of Toyo Glass and Sasaki Glass, bringing together two companies with deep roots in Japan's glassmaking history. The origins of the group trace back to Toyo Glass, founded in 1878, and to Sasaki Glass, which started in 1902 in Tokyo.

Today, the headquarters and main factory are located in Yachiyo City, Chiba. The company manufactures and sells glass tableware for both commercial and household use, as well as custom-made items and industrial glass components. By operating both machine-made and hand-made production facilities in the same plant, Toyo-Sasaki Glass can flexibly respond to diverse needs, from large-volume orders to small-batch, craft-oriented pieces.

On the technology side, the company has developed original glass materials such as “Fine Clear”, which offers clarity comparable to crystal, and “Fine Crystal Ion Strong”, which provides excellent durability and resistance to alkaline detergents. These materials, combined with HS ion-toughening technology, underpin a wide range of high-performance glassware.
