Why We Love It

Among the king of sweet potatoes, "Naruto Kintoki," this farm's "Umami Kintoki" is in another league. Grown in mineral-rich sea-sand fields under a deliberately tough environment, the potato's natural sweetness and fluffy texture are drawn out to the limit. Just baking it turns it into a top-tier dessert! Processed items such as the paste and karinto have a rich ingredient flavor too — an irresistible lineup for sweet-potato lovers.

PROFILE About the Company / Workshop

Naruto City, Tokushima. "Naruto Kintoki" sweet potatoes — grown in mineral-rich sea-sand fields — are turned into "Umami Kintoki" with a "hokutoro" (fluffy-meets-creamy) texture through original soil-making and post-harvest aging. A classic fluffy character and a sweetness with rich umami are its hallmarks.

It also offers processed items — karinto, pastes and more — that draw on the strength of the ingredient. Delivered nationwide as snacks and cooking ingredients the whole family can enjoy.
