sot was born in 2002 in Ebisu, Tokyo. Its name carries the wish to deliver leather goods that "gently" (sotto) accompany you, and true to its message "the products made in japan. using our original design," it started as a leather brand devoted to original design and made-in-Japan craftsmanship.

From its founding, it has spent time carefully selecting raw hides and adopts only leather that grows richer the more you use it. Offering a diverse range of leather series — Pueblo leather, Minerva Box, Buttero and more from prestigious Italian tanners — it keeps making wallets, bags and small goods that draw on each leather's character and aging.
