SLOANE is a knit brand that started in the FW 2016 season — backed by a company that has handled knitwear specially for about 30 years. The trigger for the brand launch was a simple thought: "We want to make knitwear we ourselves truly want to wear every day." While admiring overseas Classico Italia and British knitwear — searching for a piece that fits Japanese body types and lifestyles better — the brand has pursued its own answer.

The brand name "SLOANE" comes from Sloane Street, often visited during stays in London. Refined streets where high-end brands line up — yet a relaxed atmosphere flows. Aspiring to that dignified worldview, as a Japan-born knit brand — naming with its own added quality and comfort.

SLOANE knitwear is refreshingly simple and basic. Yet when you slip your arm through, it's finished with a balance that effortlessly looks proper with just one piece.
