TSURIAMI pieces are knitted on traditional loopwheel machines still in use in Wakayama. The fabric is suspended in the air and knitted using its own weight as a counterbalance, at a slow pace of about one meter per hour. The result is a knit with a distinctive softness and a firm, resilient body.
