PORCO ROSSO

Something you can pass on—20 years from now.

PORCO ROSSO crafts leather bags, wallets and small goods one by one by hand. The brand’s concept is “Something you can pass on—20 years from now.” It is about keeping things for a long time, repairing them when needed, and letting them grow into a familiar tool in your everyday life.

PROFILE About the Company / Workshop

PORCO ROSSO is built around the idea of keeping good things for a long time. Instead of disposable consumption, the brand aims for leather goods that can be repaired and passed on to the next generation.

Its original leather is made by Tochigi Leather Co. Using vegetable tanning, the leather changes gradually with use—color, sheen and feel become deeper as it ages.

Each piece is made by hand after an order is placed. Thoughtful details—like a lining-free design—help highlight the material, while customization options allow you to tailor the item to your daily routine.

In Fukuoka’s Yakuin area, the flagship store is attached to a workshop. About half of the store is a working craft space, and workshops are held irregularly to share the joy of making things.
