At its cutting factory "Kauri Factory Sasayama" in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo, it performs efficient cutting that minimizes fabric waste using CAM (automatic cutting machines), combining production speed with reduced material loss.

As the apparel industry as a whole faces the problem of mass production and mass disposal, Kauri champions the keyword "small life," supporting the shift to sustainable fashion through small-lot response, the selection of low-impact materials, and proposals for cut-and-sewn knits that can be worn for a long time. Since its founding, Kauri has walked a path devoted to domestic sewing as an OEM/ODM company specialized in cut-and-sewn knits. By producing the bodies of original T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and the like within Japan and tailoring them at domestic sewing factories, it achieves genuine made-in-Japan. Speedy small-lot response through an integrated in-house system

Centered on its own sewing factory in Honmachi, Osaka, and its cutting factory "Kauri Factory Sasayama" in Tamba-Sasayama, it manages everything in one flow — pattern, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, garment dyeing and secondary processing. With a system that allows close in-house coordination, it handles sample sewing and pattern revisions with quick response, enabling speedy production even for small lots of around 100 pieces and sudden additional orders for popular products.
