Fukasaku Farm

Fukasaku Farm was born from a family of farmers who have raised crops including melon, strawberries, and sweet potatoes for generations in Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The current farm is centered on the 6th generation — based on "Fukasaku farming method" committed from soil-making, family and staff work together on field-making, product-making, and store-making.

In the fields and greenhouses — diverse agricultural products are cultivated: melon, strawberries, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, rice. For each crop, finely adjusting soil, water management, and sunlight, and accumulating daily observation and improvement from variety selection to ripeness judgment. As a result, growing into a farm receiving many awards — including the Japan Agriculture Award Grand Prize and the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries Festival Prime Minister's Award.

Beyond just cultivation, there is commitment to how to deliver harvested crops deliciously. At the farm direct sales shop, freshly picked melon, strawberries, vegetables, and rice line up. The online shop ships nationwide farm-original products — including the Hall of Fame sweet potato "Beniharuka," plus dried sweet potatoes and baked sweet potatoes made from that sweet potato, rice, melon jelly, baked sweet potato baum, and melon baum.
