Murachu kajuen
"The depth of one bite born from one extra effort." Direct from the producer — seasonal fruits from Tendo, Yamagata.
"Murachu Orchard" is a third-generation fruit farm in Aratani, Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. Under the climate blessed with the temperature differences unique to the basin, by layering early, careful field work, the farm grows deeply flavored fruits — La France, Fuji apples, peaches, plums, cherries. Harvested fruits are determined at "the only eating moment" of that season — and shipped directly from the producer. Seasonal fruits delivered from Yamagata.
Why We Love It
We enjoy delicious La France and apples every year ♪ Eating right when it arrives is delicious too, but waiting a bit until the aroma rises — the melting texture is truly the queen of fruits. Children love them and one box disappears in an instant. With cherries and peaches, they don't miss "the season's best" — so I can comfortably entrust them as seasonal gifts.
PROFILE About the Company / Workshop
Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture — where Murachu Orchard is — is a town known as a producing region of shogi pieces and fruit trees. In the suburban Aratani district, "Murachu Orchard" has continued fruit tree cultivation for three generations.
Days when phones don't connect well because of being out for field work during the day. While continuing such "field-priority" work style, the farm has built up fax and email order acceptance — responding to voices saying "this year too, please" from customers nationwide.
The main items are La France (carefully managed through after-ripening) and bagless-cultivation Sun Fuji apples bathed in plenty of sun. Plus cherries, peaches, and plums — representative Yamagata seasonal fruits in the lineup. While facing each year's weather and ripening conditions, the farm continues attentive cultivation unique to a small orchard.
The ordering method is simply filling out "desired product, size, quantity" and "sender, recipient information" and sending by fax or email. Sending the invoice separately by mail and asking for transfer to the designated account — even in this online-shop-dominant era, an orchard that cherishes exchanges where you can see people's faces.
A third-generation fruit farm continuing in Tendo, Yamagata
Murachu Orchard continues for three generations in Aratani, Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. In a land blessed with the temperature differences unique to the basin — under the slogan "the depth of one bite born from one extra effort" — while layering early, careful work, the farm grows deeply flavored fruits.
A seasonal lineup centered on La France and Sun Fuji
In autumn-winter season, sales are centered on La France (carefully managed through after-ripening) and bagless-cultivation Sun Fuji apples bathed in plenty of sun. In addition, peaches, plums, and cherries — the farm delivers Yamagata-like fruits by season.
La France delivered in two stages of ripeness
La France requires after-ripening after harvest. At Murachu Orchard, by storage management, packaging is divided into two stages — "those at eating moment immediately" and "those to lay down a bit and enjoy" — designed so you can enjoy deliciousness with a time lag from the day you open the box.
Careful direct-sale style via phone, fax, and email
Precisely because they're often absent for field work, fax and email orders and inquiries are guided — shipping while confirming content one case at a time. With invoice support and shipping guidance per courier, the careful direct-sales style unique to handwork is preserved.
