Enjoying both fruits and tableware born in Yamagata.

Known as the kingdom of fruits like cherries, La France pears, and grapes, Yamagata is a prefecture enriched with "food," including rice, beef, and local sake. At the same time, diverse crafts are passed down, such as Tendo shogi pieces, Yamagata ironware, and Yonezawa weaving. When considering a Made in Japan-first lifestyle, the charm of Yamagata lies in being able to align foods made from fruits and rice with the tableware and fabrics that receive them, all within the same prefecture.

Sweets and Processed Goods from Cherries and La France Pears

We will feature jams, jellies, baked sweets, and juices using Yamagata-grown fruits like cherries, La France pears, apples, and grapes. We aim to create encounters with sweets and processed goods that cherish the unique flavors of Yamagata, paying close attention to the production origin of the fruits and manufacturing methods.

Crafts with a Quiet Presence, like Shogi Pieces and Ironware

Yamagata's crafts are highly attractive as tools silently accompanying daily life, such as Tendo shogi pieces, Yamagata ironware vases and tableware, and Yonezawa weaving textiles. We will introduce mainly items easy to use for interior decor and around the table, together with the creator's background.

Lineup of Rice and Side Dishes Supporting Tsuyahime and Yamagata Beef

We will also focus on foods supporting the dining tables of Yamagata, such as the brand rice "Tsuyahime," Yamagata beef, local sake, and side dishes for local cuisine. We will propose the joy of arranging "Yamagata-born food and tableware" alongside fruit sweets.
