Doi Hokosho's history begins with its start in 1952 as "Doi Hokosho," a sewing factory specializing in dress shirts. Since its founding, it has earned recognition as a factory entrusted with dress shirts for world-class brands and well-known domestic shops, and has now grown into one of Japan's leading shirt factories producing tens of thousands of shirts annually.

Leveraging the product planning capability cultivated through many years of OEM production and the vast accumulation of patterns based on Japanese body type data, the Made-in-Japan custom-order shirt brand "Doi Hokosho" was born from the desire to "deliver better shirts at more appropriate prices under our own name." Rather than being just a brand, a major characteristic is that it is a "brand where the factory comes to the front."

The brand concept is "to make Japanese business professionals stylish." While pursuing a presence that gives a good impression in business scenes, comfort even when worn for long hours, and sustainable manufacturing that considers the environment, the brand positions order shirts as the standard of the future.

Centered on the in-house factory in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, the Tokyo flagship showroom, and the online shop, Doi Hokosho is expanding the reach of order shirts in various ways — including offerings as hometown tax thank-you gifts and size guarantee / fabric sample services. You can choose to match preferences and scenes — from business specifications to a special-occasion piece.

Two customization lines and substantial support

Two customization lines are available to choose from based on freedom of size and design: "Easy Order" and "Made to Measure." The support system is also in place to make first-time orders worry-free — including first-purchase size guarantee support, free fabric swatch samples, fitting services, and in-store measurement reservations.
