True to the concept "clothing is a frame," they are excellent supporting players that bring out the wearer's individuality. The durable construction that you can love for a long time is also appealing — a reliable brand that gives you courage when you have one in your wardrobe.

PROFILE About the Company / Workshop

quadro was born as an original apparel brand handled by Umikawa Shoji Co., Ltd. As the founder expanded the field of challenges from Mie Prefecture to Nagoya and then Tokyo, quadro was born from the thought "we want to create our own brand."

When the first store opened in Daikanyama, Tokyo, sales did not grow and difficult times continued, but riding the subsequent flow of the Daikanyama boom, the brand grew into a brand of note. Starting as a select shop, the brand shifted to the current development centered on original wear — sparked by the hit of in-house shirts and jeans.

Today, with physical stores in the Kanto, Tokai, and Kansai areas — including the Daikanyama flagship, Ginza, Nagoya Sakae Nadya Park, Namba Parks, Nishinomiya Gardens, and Okazaki — and the online store, there is a system where you can pick up quadro clothing from anywhere in the country. With "Japanese materials" and "Japanese artisans" as the axis of manufacturing, the brand will continue to propose evolving basics that quietly accompany daily life.

"Material-first" clothing making — particular about everything from yarn twisting to knitting

The most valued aspect of quadro's clothing making is "material." Being particular about details from yarn twisting and dyeing methods to weaving and knitting design, the brand maximizes the texture inherent in natural materials such as cotton and linen. The fabric quality that gains expression the more you wear it is born thanks to Japanese production areas and artisan technique.

Clothing as a "frame" — simple design that doesn't assert too much

The brand name "quadro" means "frame" in Italian. The concept is that the clothing itself is not the protagonist, but a presence that brings out the individuality and expression of the wearer. Without chasing excessive decoration or transient trends, the design is characterized by being thoroughly particular about size sense, button position, and detail balance precisely because it is simple.

Daily wear that can be loved for a long time, made with artisans from various parts of Japan

By performing not only fabric production but also sewing and finishing together with domestic artisans, the brand also considers resistance to deformation and durability. Because they are items like denim, shirts, and outerwear that you wear daily, the brand aims for a piece you can rely on no matter how many times you wash it. By wearing them for a long time while accumulating repairs and care, a wardrobe with growing affection is cultivated.
