Ajisen Shioji Co., Ltd. — which manufactures Ofukuro Baby Food — is a food maker founded in 1985 in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture. After obtaining Organic JAS-certified factory qualification in 2002 — steering toward food making specialized in domestic organic ingredients and additive-free — engaging in product development and quality improvement based on the Organic JAS system.

While developing the Organic JAS-certified seasoning brand "Ofukuro Dressing" — from the thought "what babies eat should be even more reassuring and safe" — Ofukuro Baby Food was born. In 2004, Organic JAS-certified Ofukuro Baby Food was released — starting the journey as a baby food brand thoroughly committed to domestic organic ingredients and additive-free.

Since release, centered on the "Organic Whole Baby Food" series — developing a wide lineup matched to age and scene: vegetable paste, ojiya, mixed rice, and 5-item simmered dishes using chicken and fish.
