Eventually entering baby clothing manufacturing in earnest, the company specialized in item making for newborns.

In 1970, the company established a separate company by spinning off the baby division — and later changed the name to "Akachan no Shiro Co., Ltd." Placing the axis on newborn clothing and layette, it shifted from sourcing/wholesale business to a layette maker performing planning to manufacturing in-house. Through headquarters factory relocation/expansion and sewing equipment enhancement, the current domestic production system was built.
