Arita, Imari, Karatsu: the prefecture of tableware and Saga beef.

Gathering production areas for representative Japanese tableware like Arita ware, Imari ware, and Karatsu ware, Saga is so equipped with dining tableware that you'd want to call it "the prefecture of tableware." Ingredients coloring the table are also abundant, such as Saga beef, Imari beef, Ariake Sea seaweed and seafood, and Japanese sake. When setting up a Made in Japan-first dining table, Saga's strength is being able to gather tableware and feasts from the same land.

Arita, Imari, Karatsu: Choosing Saga by Tableware

Arita and Imari ware, attractive for the beauty of white porcelain and gorgeous overglaze, and Karatsu ware, holding an impression in clay textures and negative space. Tableware possessing distinct personalities gathers in Saga. We will focus on introducing items active in daily meals—like rice bowls, plates, serving dishes, and sake vessels—so you can choose while imagining their compatibility with cooking.

Saga Beef and Ariake Sea Feasts

Saga beef and Imari beef, characterized by fine marbling, are perfect as main dishes for special days. In addition to steak and sukiyaki cuts, processed goods like curry, hamburgers, and stews are also abundant. Paired with processed goods of Ariake Sea seaweed and seafood, we will introduce Saga's feasts that make your rice go down well.

Tableware and Japanese Sake: A Small Evening Drink Set

Saga's tableware holds outstanding compatibility with Japanese sake. By combining a bottle of local sake with a guinomi (sake cup), katakuchi (pitcher), or sake vessel tray, the evening drink time enjoyed at home becomes far richer. We will also introduce ideas for small evening drink sets, such as sake tasting sets enjoyable in small quantities and combinations intended as gifts with sake vessels.
