Miyazaki beef and Chicken Nanban; the mango resort.

Holding a food culture projecting a bright, southern country-like image with items such as Miyazaki beef, Chicken Nanban, local chicken dishes, and hiyajiru (cold soup). Miyazaki is also abundant in fruits like mangoes and hyuganatsu (citrus), making it a prefecture where you can feel the blessings of both sea and mountains. Due to its location deeply connected to camping and surfing, tools fitting outdoor play, like wooden tableware and cutting boards, are also created. From a Made in Japan-first perspective, it is an area where you can combine and choose meat, fruits, and wooden tools.

Miyazaki Beef and Chicken Nanban: Southern Meat and Rice

Miyazaki beef, praised for its balance of soft meat quality and fat, is popular not strictly for steaks and BBQ but as processed goods like curry and hamburgers. Additionally, we will introduce southern meat dishes enjoyable at home through Chicken Nanban sauces, frozen deli items, and processed goods using "Jitokko" local chicken.

Mango and Hyuganatsu: Tropical Sweets

Speaking of Miyazaki, many people probably think of fully ripened mangoes. In addition to juices, jellies, ice creams, and baked sweets using mango flesh and puree, we will point out sweet items giving off a bright southern feel, like marmalades and sweets using hyuganatsu.

Wooden Tools Suiting the Sea and Mountains

Wooden products utilizing timber like cedar—such as cutting boards, plates, and camping wooden tableware and cutlery—are tools matching well with Miyazaki's natural environment and outdoor dining. We will introduce their charm focusing on simple wooden tools easy to use whether at your home table or outdoors.
